Dale Faulstich's home and studio is on the North Olympic Peninsula, where he has been an artist and woodcarver since 1972. As a non-native working in a native tradition, Dale enjoys a unique relationship with the Jamestown S'Klallan Tribe of Sequim, Washington, resulting in many commissioned artworks. He has created ten totem poles, the largest of which is 49' tall and 6' in diameter, for the tribe's Seven Cedars Casino. He is involved in various other tribal projects, as well as teaching an ongoing series of carving classes. Dale has created masks, totem poles, steam-bent boxes, animal form bowls, rattles, drums, and ceremonial objects, as well as carved doors, wall panels, and furniture. Eagle
